Image via WikipediaOver the weekend, billions of Christians of all denominations were celebrating the supposedly birthday of Yeshua about 2011- 4 = 2007 years ago; and in the Roman Catholic Churches around the world, this will definitely be the High Mass where the priests are empowered to 'command' the OmniPotent, OmniPresent and OmniScient God, to come down from Heaven and be offered on the alter as a Sacrifice again. When Moses disobeyed YHVH ELOHIM by striking the Rock the second time instead of just speaking to it, he was not allowed to cross over to the promised land. It seems very insignificant to our human reasoning but to YHVH's big plan of salvation, it is very fundamental. On the Cross at Calvary, Yeshua before He yielded His life, said " It is finished". Every thing had been settled, The Ransom that He had to pay on our behalf for our sins and transgressions had been paid in full and no need for Him to die over and over again.
The Rock is the type of Christ in the old testament and when Moses stroke it instead of speaking to it, he was 're-sacrificing' Christ for the second time.
But that is exactly what is happening in the RCC Mass. What an abomination! And believing that the sacrifice at Calvary 2,007 years ago was not sufficient is tantamount to calling YHVH as a LIAR!
So back to who really killed Jesus? Was it the Romans, Jews, Satan or our rebellion and sinful nature? After a couple of days searching for the answer, it dawns upon me that YHVH ELOHIM was really the One who killed His Only Begotten Son. But why? Is not God is Love? How can a father killed his own son, whom he loves, for a better reason?
In John 3:16, we are told that He loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son that whoever believes in Him is not condemned to eternal death. In Isaiah 53:10 also speaks of His will to 'crush' Yeshua, the Lamb of God, the Perfect once for all sacrifice for the sins of mankind.
My finite mind just could not fathom fully the mind boggling act of love on the part of YHVH ELOHIM for our redemption that I was moved to tears many times how the nativity story, which I believed coincided with the feast of tabernacle or Sukkot sometime towards the end of September or beginning of October, which began on 13th and ended on the 21st October, 2011, and on which day Yeshua's (Immanuel - YHVH tabernacles or live with us) should be accorded the right treatment among Christians who are supposed to His future bride.
